Scottish & Newcastle Annual Report

Working to release potential

As the new CEO at Scottish & Newcastle plc got a grip on the business, the 2003 Annual Report designed by Navyblue reflected a changing business structure. The report focused on the business as an international player, spreading risk across a portfolio maintaining the market through premium brands. As unviable aspects of the business were liquidated, funds were ploughed into advertising and promotion, extending distribution and the strength of the brand to increase market share.

Maintaining the corporate colours of blue and gold, the reporting document shows the group at a glance and incorporates elements such as the CEO's response to questions posed by investors and social issues such as how the impact of alcohol can be managed. Highlighting growth, innovation and performance improvements, the report is a clear and succinct book looking forward to opportunities for growth and reinforced brand and market share.
