Tardis International: the L.A.U.N.C.H. pad for the third collaborative book

In a collaborative exercise with Robert Horne Paper and Fulmar Print, Navyblue designed and produced L.A.U.N.C.H. Designed to demonstrate the expertise of each company, this A4 portrait book was made up of a series of double-sided A3 landscaped posters on three paper stocks, gathered and bound with only a vivid green elastic band.

Unlike previous collaborations, where a party was held to launch and publicise the already designed yearbook, this eclectic and 'undesigned' book was a reflective account of the launch event itself - and those present. A visual and written record of the evening, the concept tied in with the launch of Robert Horne's new identity.

Fusing graphics, photography, illustration and textures the design is fluid, flexible and diverse. Narrative featuring made up characters and conversations and descriptive text is the final element of L.A.U.N.C.H. It is a celebration of collaborators, colleagues and friends but also a celebration of the events, the venue, music, atmosphere and conversation.
