Bluecycle
Bluecycle is an independent company providing technology enabled market-making services for the disposal and procurement of commercial assets. bluecycle currently offers salvage disposal, e-tenders and replacement vehicles to Norwich Union. Vehicle salvage disposal accounts for 99% of their business which is provided via a closed community online auction. Holding a 20% share of the total UK salvage market, they are the largest online vehicle salvage auction.
Navyblue created a flexible, ‘white label’ solution for bluecycle’s online presence. The Digital team’s re-design of the public-facing pages from bluecycle.com then led to the design of bluecycle.ie – a website tailored for the Irish auto salvage market in association with Hibernian, Ireland’s biggest insurer. The Digital team was also responsible for re-designing a new auction engine interface and functionality which will be used on the bluecycle websites going forward.
