London 2012 Bid

Design for winners

To design the document that would support London's bid to host the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games was an opportunity Navyblue jumped at. Already presented with the identity, which emerged from a national competition, Navyblue pulled out all the stops to create a strong brand framework across the candidature file, supporting documentation, promotional literature and stationery. One key project was the development of a 6-month mailing campaign to members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). This was one of the few opportunities bid cities had to court IOC members directly. The final IOC decision was announced on July 6th 2005? to award London the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. What's more, thanks to the communications campaign , the bid team was named Communicator of the Year by the British Association of Communicators in Business (CiB).
