Wrexham County Borough Museum

Working alongside architects, we were appointed to design the interiors of this redeveloped, listed museum for the local community.  The brief was to create a museum that is physically, intellectually and culturally accessible and maximises the display potential of community artefacts, including the Welsh Football collection and the location of the local history research centre. This was achieved through the introduction of flexible physical displays and an integrated multimedia archive.  The museum is a series of interlinked galleries and café surrounding a courtyard.  Our concept designs have been submitted to the HLF for lottery funding.
